2019 Seoul S&T Forum Invites You

We are pleased to invite you to join us on November 6 & 7 at the 2019 Seoul Science & Technology (S&T) Forum, hosted by the National Research Council of Science and Technology (NST) and organized by the Science and Technology Policy Institute (STEPI), Osong Medical Innovation Foundation, INNOPOLIS Foundation and the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST).

Since its launch in 2010, the Seoul S&T Forum has been a platform for discussing the inclusive, sustainable development of science and technology. In addition to compelling content, it offers unique opportunities to interact with key stakeholders in a wide range of S&T fields.

The theme of this year’s forum is “Critical Roles of Innovation Clusters: Addressing Policy Issues and Challenges for Inclusive Growth,” and it will focus on public-private partnership strategies for turning Seoul’s Hongneung area into a world-class innovation cluster. Day 1 of the forum will kick off with insights into the characteristics of industry-university-institute collaboration and why proper governance is essential for success. Next will come an in-depth discussion on how global innovation clusters can best foster research cooperation, followed by an examination of how they create added value and new business opportunities. Day 2 will feature a presentation on Korea’s Hongneung area, followed by a panel discussion.

The forum is expected to be an invaluable opportunity for exchanging ideas and forging new partnerships among policymakers, researchers, and business owners—all while imparting important lessons through analyses of benchmarked case studies.

We cordially invite you to attend this landmark event and share with us your insights and expertise.

Thank you.
